Virgo is the sign of the virgin.
It spans the period from approximately
August 21st to
September 20th each year (dates may vary slightly between years).
It is associated with the traditional element of Earth, and
is classified by astrologers as having negative polarity.
The Virgo personality's
principal characteristics are diligence, practicality and reliability
Virgo people are usually analytical, detail-orientated, and meticulous.
While being detail-orientated can be a tremendous advantage in many situations,
at other times, or if taken too far, it can also become a weakness of the
Virgo personality.
It is not unknown for Virgos to be seen by others as being fussy overly-critical perfectionists.
Similarly, no matter what strong emotions might be hidden beneath
the surface, Virgos can easily give the impression of being cool and aloof.
Fortunately however, most Virgos do tend to have strong analytical skills,
